The Loser’s Book List

Am I alone in thinking this week was so long?! I’m not sure why it felt so miserably long since I had an amazing snow day on Tuesday. Work was very very busy and crazy this week – nothing going according to plan, other people’s drama, and just the general freezing to death experienced every time I walked outside.

On another completely separate note, I don’t know if I’ve mentioned it before but I like reading. And while I go through phases where I read book on book on book for months and then go a month or a couple months with zero desire to read, I guess you could say I always come back. I’m also definitely one of those people who doesn’t have the strength to finish reading a book if I don’t like it. I will try and try and hang in there but if it doesn’t hold my interest or I just don’t like it, I won’t finish it. I also may hit this magical uninterested phase in reading mid-book, so there are plenty of books I liked that I just got distracted from and haven’t finished yet (don’t judge)…is that ADD? or just laziness? Can’t be sure. So why don’t I share the ultimate book list?! A list of the books I haven’t read (completely) hahaha

So without further ado, please enjoy my top-15 list of unfinished books:

1. Fifty Shades of Grey

2. The Elephant Keeper

3. Not That Kind of Girl

4. Gone Girl

5. The Memory Keepers Daughter

6. Harry Potter (ok…I read the first one in it’s entirety, but not the rest…)

7. A Hologram for the King

8. White Teeth

9. The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

10. The Notebook

11. East of Eden

12. Lolita

13. Cold Mountain

14. Gone with the Wind

15. The Handmaid’s Tail

Happy Friday! Stay warm! Have fun! Be nice! Have a drink! Have a dessert! Treat yo self!
